Todd’s Story

Todd got his start in the industry right out of college when he founded his practice in Northville in 1989. Growing his business from the ground up, Todd knocked on the doors of those in the community, building trust one conversation at a time. Over thirty years later, he leads the Stonebrook Private team – now serving a few hundred individuals and families with over $1 Billion in managed assets. While many things have changed since 1989, acting in the best interest of his clients has always been top of mind.

After graduating from Canton High School, Todd studied at Hillsdale College – for which he remains a proud alumnus and a frequent donor. Since entering the industry, his focus has been successfully guiding clients and their families through their goals. Todd has a special gift for communication and education around financial topics – especially those that may be sensitive to his clients. With his deep-rooted experience, he understands the pitfalls of poor planning and letting emotions steer one’s investment experience. That is why he founded Stonebrook Private, a planning-focused advisory firm that solely acts in a fiduciary capacity.

In 2021, 2022, 2025 and 2026, Todd was named to the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor List for the state of Michigan (High Net Worth).

When he is not serving clients, you are likely to find him at Devils Lake, boating and enjoying the outdoors. He and his wife, Chris, love to travel and explore new locales. Todd splits time each year between Northville, MI and Bonita Springs, FL. His son, Spencer, works alongside him at Stonebrook Private and his daughter, Kelsey, is the Director of Loyalty Business Development & Partnership for Fanatics in New York City.
