Candace’s Story

In her role, Candace offers white-glove service to our clients and handles their requests with speed and precision. Stonebrook Private clients appreciate her knowledge, kind demeanor, and positive attitude as she finds solutions to their questions.

Candace joined our predecessor firm in 2006. Before that, she worked as a Senior Sales Associate for Wachovia Securities and Smith Barney. She holds the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional designation. Originally from Rocky River, Ohio, Candace studied at Cleveland State University.

Giving back to the community is important to Candace. She helps others as a volunteer at her church, Focus: Hope in Detroit. She lives in Commerce Township, Michigan, with her husband, Gary. They have three adult children: Makanda, Neil and Jack. When she’s away from the office, Candace enjoys hiking, boating, gardening, practicing yoga, traveling, and reading.

Candace’s Goals

  • Build a cottage on Watts Bar Lake in Tennessee, which is not in an HOA (her and her husband don’t like rules). They have the property – now the building fun begins.
  • Travel – a lot. She currently has plans to travel to Peru and Alaska in 2024.
  • Spoil her grandchildren when any of her three children decide to bless her with that gift!
